Newb + ROK + Follow Guides?

So I read some of the guides, then some of the threads.The guides mainly say to make a character as a main, level slow under 10 turning off mob xp to get achievement points. Then make a set of crafters to support your Equipment needs.Does this still hold true with ROK? I probably still need to level slow to get the Achievement points, but do I still need the crafter support? Or will quest gear suffice? All the way to level cap? Not sure what level ranges ROK supports. I assume the Achievement points work the same in Rok as they did in the normal areas.Anyone have a newb guild that I could hop on and ask annoying newb questions too?

You don't have to worry about making your own gear in T2. Hell you don't ever have to worry about making your own gear as long as you know which rares sell for a lot and focus on getting and selling them. Also the armor/weapon drops in RoK for T2 sell for quite a bit as they are better than the MC gear.
