warning about tenacious cap

I received this chain helm (Tenacious Cap)in ROK yesterday as a quest reward. I thought the blurry image it has on it would be a useful effect. Be aware that it says Reduces threat in area of effect by 600 . This procs on a beneficial spell. What hadn't occurred to me was that this is a true area of effect spell and will draw things to you that aren't yet in the battle. I learned this the hard way on a guild trip into the castle. There are a number of quest rewards with a similar effect.A friend of mine has a Necro that kept getting killed by the guards in freeport when he was casting buffs. It turned out he has an AOE 15dps debuff that procs off beneficial spells too <img src="/smilies/8a80c6485cd926be453217d59a84a888.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />Drove him nuts for a few days until he figured it out.
