Lvl 21 and just met my first wizard (lvl 20) with manaburn. I go owned and given that he was still at full health, more or less, when I died, I think that I did not handle the situation all that well, lol. I put on my health shield (forget name) and started hitting him with all I had. Obviously a no no. Would I have fared any better if I had just raised the shield and merely used my weapon on autoattack until the manaburn had gone or is this a situation where I was going to die no matter what I did? I would be grateful for any advice. Cheers.Ps. Not having used Harm Touch up to now I never thought of using it then. Would this have made a difference?

HT also helsp, but not so much if he pops manashield.

Just stick to melee dmg only and run around in circles so he can't fusion you , use shield bash and kick with a 2 second gap between them (stops long casting dmg spells and makes the other one come back play shortly after). Trying to stand at a distance is useless, they have root, and they cast distance spells, you just need to stay away from him, which the best place to stand is, behind him. As you eating his power instead of his health, you are at least doing something to him while waiting, when you see the health bar go down instead of power, smack him!

Yeah, I'll give you an image of what's going on in his head. ------------------Okay, tactics. Gotta play with tactics. Damage, damage, damage. Root 'em if you can. More damage. Okay, that was a lucky shot. Got him down to 50%. Hmmm.... OMGOMGOMGOMG... he's letting me cast Manaburn!------------------There. That's what was going through his mind.
