keyboard command for pet attack?

I made a macro and put in /pet attack as "Command" and then the first DoT i always cast, so I cast my first DoT and send my pet in.  You can always just make a macro with /pet attack under "Command".

You can also drag the attack icon from the pet window to your hotbar.I have mine set to Alt-=

<p>Since this topic is similar to a question I had, I will ask here before another thread.  Is there text commands for the other pet toggles?  Specificly I was looking for pet protect me and pet protect self.  I want to add them all into one attack key, because its a pain to pet pull then send pet after one mob of a group, and after that dies he comes back to your side and does nothing with mobs beating on him.</p>

<p>/pet attack</p><p>/pet backoff (possibly /pet back off)</p><p>Those are the only two I use and I have a 7 key mouse in which two of the keys are for these 2 commands.</p><p>There are others, but the only other one I actually know is  /pet getlost   and it kills your pet.</p>

<p>Well I found this list, not sure if they are all valid or not, and also don't really see one to have the pet respond if it's attacked but here is what I found:</p><p>/pet attack - Pet will attack your current target/pet backoff - Pet will cease attacking its target/pet stayhere - Pet will stop following you and remain where it is/pet followme - Pet will follow you/pet report - Pet will announce his health in a percentage/pet guardme - Pet will guard and follow you/pet guardhere - Pet will guard its current location/pet who -Pet will announce its master/pet getlost - Pet will disappear</p>

Is there still a pet window?   I came back to EQ2 a couple of months ago and noticed there was no pet window anymore.  I asked a guildmate who has only been playing a year and he said his necro never had a pet window.  Do we still have a pet window and if so how do I open it again?   Thanks

Pretty sure that alt+p will bring up your pet window.

<p>Also</p><p>/pet preserve_master   will set protect me to on</p><p>/pet preserve_self         will set protect self to on</p><p>I put these 2 commands after pet backoff command, as the backoff sets both to off. you might have to tap the backoff key a few times, as pet backsoff if it gets hit.</p>
