Hello all! I was thinking about creating a Swashbuckler and would like to know the best races for them. Also, which stats should I look into increasing the most?

Thank you for any help!

Rats have some really nice racials for scouts (sans bards). They get a 25% to all poison procs.. and some other stuff I forgot.Dark Elf also would be a good choice, as their racials rock.

But Rats and Dark Elves can't be Swashbucklers unless they betray.Wood elves get the new poison proc I *think* Maybe Half Elves?I really didn't pay attention when I redid my Wood elf and Half elf, as neither were Swashbuckler. My lev 49 Swashie is a Halfling, and so far so good with him.

Dark Elves betrayed would be the best I think due to their little +150 combat art racial, +the poison procs they also get.I think they get +stealthed speed also.DE would be perfect for the min/maxer I think.

Nobody got increase poisons procs. They got increased poison triggers which means a 100 poison now has 125. Very big difference.

Halflings, Dark Elfs, half elfs, ratonga.....my new brigand is a kerra. All of these races would be decent swashies.

here you can check a mostly accurate list yourself

http://forums.station.sony.com/eq2/...topic_id=391574

Increases Melee Crit by 5% Increases Dmg Spell Crit by 5% Increases Casting Speed by 10% Increases Attack Speed by 35 Increases Spell and CA damage by 100 Decreases Parry by 31 Decreases Defense by 32That right there from a DE would make a huge difference in you and another swashy. It's pretty much a 5 minute reuse god ability.Have fun with that one.

The first & most important rule of Swash Club is: NO UGLY PEOPLE ALLOWED, & NO FATTIES. So that cuts out all the Ogres, Trolls, Gnomes, Dwarves, Halflings, Sarnak, Iksar, & so on. But Rats are kinda cool, so you can be a Rat if you want.

See, the only thing that matters, is whether or not you're DROP DEAD SEXEH. That's why there's a difference between Swashies & Brigs: we're sexy, Brigs are not.

& that's all there is to it.
