Your quest journal is full please delete.....

<p>Since there is a ridiculous amount of quests to get in rok, and with quest sharing when you join up and get even more quests to work on together,  do you think you could possible expand the amount of quests we can have in our journal : ) </p><p>just room for like 500 more quests should be good </p>

Is there any technical reason why there needs to be a limit at all?  This is a recurring problem for me as a questaholic.

Well the original reason for this was a lag issue from beta when the journal was unlimited. Basicly the game checks your journal every time u hit certain areas to see if u have a quest for that or if u kill a certain mob to see if that mob updates a quest. So the game can bog down some with the more quests it has to check especially if the zone tends to be crowded.

Ok, so go up to 100.  That would be good.  Or 150!!Also, for the person that said about non-deletables, I believe those don't count against the total.

More quests would be great. Please raise the maximum <img src="/eq2/images/smilies/69934afc394145350659cd7add244ca9.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" width="15" height="15" />I like to do most quests I come across. Unfortunately I have to wait for many heroic quests to get green/grey, until I'm finally able to do them. Finding groups for certain quests is often impossible. I currently have a lot of quests from KoS and EoF which I intend to finish at 80. With the massive amount of quests in RoK and its new heroic quests I'm always short of space for new ones.

cant just go and finish the 75 quests in your journal now? they cant all be non delateable. if they add more slots will just fill them all up agen with old quests that wont ever get done if you cant even make room with the 75 cap now.

is there a reason why some of those quests are non-deleteable? I get to RoK and figure I'd just delete some of the old grey quests I have. Lo and behold, they will not let me delete them.  Now I cannot understand why any quest should be non-deleteable. If I want to delete it and forfeit the XP and reward, thats up to me. What is the system in place that justifies that some quests are not able to be deleted? Please, somebody enlighten me!!

well, those quests that are non deletable used to be important ones... mostly access quests to major zones... (back then when the quest journal didnt even show that they where access quests and you actually really had to do them).they should make them deletable in my opinion. anyway, i'll agree that we could use some more room in the quest journal.

I'd be happy with a 75 or 100 quest journal. It's not so important now that I'm done questing, but it would have been nice when I had to keep deleting quests over and over. Whya re we still at 50 after all this time? It was 75 back when collections were part of the quest tally, wasn't it?

It used to be 50 and collection quests counted to that total.The reason there is a limit of 75 is server performance. I would like to have a system where we were allowed unlimited quests.  But rather than the quest journal constantly checking for this or that, we could have a more specific filtering system where we could choose which ones we wanted to view at any given time.  Say Im lvl 75 but mentoring a lvl 22, I should be able to filter all quests that are green to orange for my current level (22), in my current zone, sharable, heroic, epic or any combination of the above.  Then have the journal ONLY show quests that meet that criteria and have all other quests "hidden" so that the journal doesn't constantly try to read them.
