I am curious as to what weapons people are finding themselves wielding as they move forward through the exploration of Kunark?Currently I am using a Strifewing Bone Bo (I think it is around 50-260, 87DR, 4.0 sec delay, 2H). I have never used a shield as I have never seen a 1H weapon that was anywhere near as good as whatever 2H I had. On the other hand, I have some pretty good shields if I ever found a good 1H weapon. What are the 1H and 2H weapons that mystics are using now? Are there any particular quests I should be beelining for? I've done most of the Kylong Plains quests and have started in on Fens quests.

I haven't seen anything solo questwise yet. There's a quest that gives a fabled 2H that we can use but it's designed for mages and there's a 1H for healers but don't remember much about it. The quest isn't too hard from what I heard, will try to get some info, I think it was mostly to kill a named inside one of the intances.

There's a legendary 2H that drops in the Sebilis instance (Crypt of Agony).

Ratio was only 1:3, I think it has a 5 sec delay and a DR of 113-116. Lv79. It also procs a deagro.

Will post a link later.

When I am using 1H / Shield configuration I use Serpentine Skewer and the Legendary shield from Shard of Fear. When I am using 2H configuration I go with either Blackscale Maul (if I think I'll be healing or debuffing at the same time) or Pike of Pain (if I think I'm gonna be blasting thru mobs with little trouble).Typically I start off using the Maul and if I find that I'm not healing at all I switch to the Pike for even faster kills. If I find that I'm healing a lot, I'll back off to a 1H configuration for more defense.

I have the Maul, but I am mostly soloing/duoing and I find it is way too slow, especially if I am fighting multiple targets. I don't really have much in the way of haste (other than the proc AA one), so 8 seconds is a really long time between swings. The Bone Bo I find does just about the same damage, it just does half as much twice as fast, but still slowly enough to get my CAs off.

I usually use Tarinax's Spine from Deathtoll, or the stun spear from Shard of Fear for my 1 hander. (Don't like blackscale myself for the long delay) and I have either Cudgel of Pain with a power tap aug or Shock (Might be Awe? I can't recall which atm) from Shard of Fear with a powertap aug (For double power taps) for when I use a 1 hander to go with my Cloister (Buckler from Acadechism I believe).

A ton of different configurations. Most common for healing/raiding on fairly difficult content I'll have heal adorned soulfire with that +45 heal tiki buckler from crypt of agony. When soloing or duoing or whatever most of the time I swap soulfire for a power tap proc adorned Awe for double power procs to handle any problems, and sometimes swap to the power tap buckler reward from the Cookie quests in kunzar. When mentoring down and powerleveling I often offhand shield of magi. Very rarely use 2 handers though I have a bag of them, since I'm finding myself less and less in situations where it's efficient to do it- if I'm in a pure dps situation it's usually better for me to just pull multiple mobs and damage them off reactive procs and make mileage out of a shield and focus on art damage and get power from Awe anyways. Think I kill a lot faster that way, and I'm generally not in groups where it would make sense for me to use a pure dps setup.

There is a Mystic useable 2H Spear that drops in Chelsith with a 117 damage rating on it. I have it and will be using it as soon as I hit L80.

Yep, Anaphylaxis is nice, but the upcoming nerf made me hesitate to mention it.The Legendary spear from Chelsith however . . . I just grin every time I see it there in my bag taunting me onward to Level 80.Edit: Here is a link to Colcatoth, Spine of the Leviathan

For soloing or duoing with a friend I usually use the Grim Brimstone Hammer. For grouping or raiding I use my Soulfire. I also have a Blackscale Maul I pull out on occasion

.....although there's a nice kite shaped buckler as a quest reward in my journal that I would like to try out so may bring my Adamantine Doomhammer out of mothballs.

If you are looking for protection from your shield, you need to get the Legendary one from Shard of Fear. It's like 700 something protection. The name escapes me since I rarely use a shield for protection, but I do keep it in my bags "just in case".

I don't have a screeny handy, but it's called Bonecrusher. As of right now it shows as equipped on my character page at http://eq2players.station.sony.com/...terId=644580103

97-552 (129.91 rating) 5 second delay

30STR 62AGI 55STA 145Mana 325Health 7 Crushing

System Shock Proc: 1.8 times a min to proc 500-600 (ish) up front then a sub 100 tic x3

Colcatoth is a much higher damage rating (117 DR vs 101 DR) than the Vrak club, and available in RoK heroic content.Colcatoth, Spine of the LeviathianVraksakin Claw Club

Yep, that's the one. Good resists too, forgot about that. I don't use it often but I keep it on me at all times.
