I've seen several people well before the expansion having the mushroom cap(what i call it) but a few minutes ago a saw a SK wearing a gi(different one from what people posting). and honestly i think its a crock of chit. Defilers get their animal caps, SK's and necros get the bone/skull helps. its not so much as looks as you kinda of identify different classes as they pass you. imagine it on PvP, people will be disguising themselves as brawlers for the affect that no one likes dealing with them on open ground.

Yes I Have also seen a few people wandering around wearing this gear. Brawlers were a a fun class to me at the start because they are different, they LOOK different and have a unique and special appearence. Now this has been whored out to other classes too and it sucks. Why bother making a Brawler at all now? Heres an idea, make a berzerker. You will have superior tanking ability, superior DPS and now you can wear a gi and hat you can just pretend you are a brawler and void the class all together.

Though a guardian is probably better than a zerker at this point.

Really? Am I the only one that hates the Gi Look? Bruisers were special way back when we had the Original Bruiser armor, the Pantaloons and the chest straps, that was cool. Then they started with the Gi Look and just averted my gaze and bought the leather. Now we have the appearance tab Im fine again...I mean, god...its monkish. I say let them have that look if they wanna look lame. The hat...I will never wear a hat that looks like a cooking utensile. I was so glad I found the Bandanna Hat.

Oh by the way, turnabouts fair play, Theirs some ceremonial armor you can wear, buy it up and play pretend your a plate class or put a robe and pretend your a caster....go wild.

Hell, Iwas wearing Tradesmans shirt and squigly hide leggings on my appearance tab. Gave me a brown jeans and t-shirt look, but that was fine. Now I wear whatever the black and purple outfit is.

Naw, this will just make me shake my head more at weirdos waiting for the boat. Whatever.

I know there is also a no-trade low-level tunics in game that look like a GI and also have "all priests, all fighters, all scouts" in the description. The joke however seems to be that they don't look like a GI on other characters, or other characters don't even get that item at all, or whatever.

Well I like the Gi look because my character is a female dark elf. It's unique, I don't look like a druid, and until now anyways I was one of only two classes that could wear that look. The female Gis are pretty hawt. I might have a different opinion if my character was male and I was going for the street fighter idea.Hopefully they'll change this like they did with the cowls for predators (originally any scout(?) could wear them).

Theres actually a fabled gi all fighters / scouts / priests can wear, and because of the great stats its going to be wanted by all of them.Rolling against non brawlers for a LEATHER GI is WRONG. [Removed for Content] give us a break on this, I created my bruiser to be a little different from every other class, now that identity has been taken away. Would it really hurt for scouts to stay with chain loot and zerker/guard to stay with plate?Put in some restrictions.

Yes but were talking about the actual look. Not group politics. I have nothing against the Gi Item itself, being the armor, stats, effects. My issue is with the look. I have a T8 Mastercrafted Gi myself (Thats because the only leather was Woven) but Ill be damned if I walk around looking like some Monk reject. Which is why I have something else in Appearence.

Can you all not afford it? Cause Ill up my tailoring and make you some generic clothes to put in appearance to hide your shame.

My question is why Bruisers would want to wear the Gi look? The mythos of the class defies it, yet I am probley one of a few bruisers that actually reject that look. Why the overwhelming acceptence of Monk Castoffs? The females Ok...I can understand it. They are very fetching in them. But the guys? Cmon. Have some Bleeping Pride. Its [Removed for Content] (If this filter keeps on censoring me Im going to stop censoring myself and go for broke) revolting enough that we have those crappy monk titles on our aas why would you embrace their look?

Your not a trancandentalist mystic that seeks inner peace...if you are, you better have some roleplay reasons for being a bruiser.

I dont know...Just dont stand so close to me when waiting for boats. I get sick enough when traveling by sea, I dont need to see you in your wussy jim jams.
