SO I spend an age getting EQ2 Players to work - now it does - well it did for a couple of weeks.

Now it is not updating and hasn't for nearly two weeks.

Two of my characters have now outleveled their personae on EQ2 Players and it is still saying last played on 10th November 2007 which is a laugh because the weekend of 16th 17th and 18th I was on a lot.

Is anyone else getting this ??

I guess we are still paying for this service ??

Surely if it is not working and not refreshing we should get the time added back onto the end of our current subscription.

When was the last time it updated for you ??

Do any consumer lawyers play the game ??

Yup, I'm on Splitpaw. And updates are often once a day. Some figures are quite fast, others max 24h later.

My character updates every once in a while but not the guild roster.

It must be hit or miss. None of my characters or the guild roster have updated since Saturday Nov. 24, which is 5 days ago. I'm really disappointed because several people in my guild are (were) competing to see who can do the most quests in Kunark, but since the site isn't updating, we can't tell. (yes, we could send ingame mail to each other saying how many we had when we logged out, but that isn't quite the same as looking at the guild roster and seeing the whole leaderbaord.)

Note: Tanz hit 74 on 11-25-07 and will most likely hit 75 tonight (only 18% away), but my sig, drawn from the EQ2players database, still says 73. Also, I looked at the guild roster again, and some of the people I was grouped with have different dates showing for "last online" when we were all together yesterday and the day before. Usually, I find EQ2Players to be about 24 hours out-of-date, but mine hasn't updated for 6 days now. Incidentally, this is also the same information that pops up on the sign-in screen on the game launchpad, and that still says 73 as well.

Mine hasnt updated since the 19th. Shows My Ranger at 56 when Hes at 58 and the alts I play regularly are several levels off. Not too big of a concern for me as I dont really use the site all that often.

I too am on Crushbone server and haven't seen my characters update on EQ2players in almost two weeks. Like Steel and Tanz, I'm tracking my quest totals and have been very disappointed that none of them are showing up on eq2players.

I'm also having issues with long zone-in times and the broker taking forever to get my purchase to me. The other day my husband said it took 10-15 mins of waiting at the broker for his purchases to appear in his inventory and it wouldn't let him zone until it was finished. In that 10-15 mins one of the items he purchased was bought by someone else and we have no idea if the broker took the cash anyways since it had taken so long and he had so many purchases. Crushbone server was the only server to crash after RoK came out and ever since then it hasn't been working correctly. We have horrendous lag issues with zoning and brokers. I too wouldn't mind seeing the server down for half a day or so if they took that time to fix whatever they broke. We shouldn't have to pay for something that doesn't work. Since EQ2players hasn't been updating our characters, we shouldn't have to pay until it works correctly.

Please, someone needs to address these issues.

roewane, ranger of Tunare for 74 seasons

Crushbone wasnt the only server that crashed, AB goes down daily and a couple of others have been bugging out as well.AB has had a few rollbacks as well from what I hear and they probably suspended updating all the info cause of the rollbacks.Or could be that they are using the hardware that updates some of the info to help support the unstable servers. With the lack of response from SOE on many of the issues people are complaining about I have seen a number of people leave, its pretty sorry to have tech support tell you that they are not aware of issues with a server that the Senior Producer has already admitted as having database problems.I would leave but wont because for all its flaws, its still the best game out there.

Not working on AB. Hasn't for at least a week or so. The funny thing is it does have the leveling history marked, it just doesn't update the current level.

It updated until I hit 80 on the 4th, then stopped. It says I have not played since then and still says I'm 79.

It shows my leveling updates as 2-79, but shows 80 on the 4th on that list. When I login the character list shows 79 unless I go to character select, and then shows I'm 80. There is a bug here somewhere. I have played everyday from the 4th until today, and the equipment does update. The last time played and level 79 are frozen though.

Oasis server, most recent character update as far as stats and level is from December 6th. Funny thing is, is that items being shown as equiped on EQ2players is being updated on a 24hours more or less basis.Case in point: http://eq2players.station.sony.com/...terId=678724206Ingame, this toon is level 30. Shows up in EQ2players as lvl 26 but is equiped with a "Sirilian Coldstone" in the charm slot which can't be equiped until you're at least lvl 30.

Mine haven't been updated in 2 week as well. I'm 80 armorer, 76 SK and it still is saying 75 SK, 73 tradeskill. Pfft. Profile said my last played is Nov 24th which is totally false, I played DAILY so far..

I saw some of my friends profile being updated regularly while some didn't.. It's a hit or miss..

What EQ2players team need to do is to introduce a forced manual update that players can have control over. Just add /eq2playerupdate so players can force the update. EQ1 used to have /eqplayerupdate to force but dunno if it's still around cuz I retired back in 2006..

Frankly, I always had extremely little faith in EQ2players. It is being hounded with lot of bugs/problems/laziness of development, etc since it's launch 2 years ago. No EOF AA for 1 year til after ROK? How nice is that? Many others too.. EQ2player is worst service I ever seen in my entire life. No kidding.. I don't know why SOE had put up with EQ2player team while SOE is doing great with EOF/ROK team..
