For Warrior Tree (which I would complete first): Right now i have 24 in Int (4,4,6,8,2), 24 in Wis (4,4,6,8,2), 16 in Str and 5 in sta (for extra health). The sixteen in str goes 4,4,8 to max out your crits which you need to do to upgrade your damage for winning solo fights and for holding agro in PVE groups. The Int has a lot of nice stuff, increased hate, increased parry, and reduced timers. I solo pvp my guardian in offensive stance so the wis line removes the penalties and increases my avoidance. In addition to the stance penatly removal, the increase in DPS and the increase in mitigation, you also can use wall of force for every melee fight with no penalty which is also nice. I think many people would say to go buckler spec instead of wis, and just swap out your buckler and tower shield as needed (and you need tower of stone a lot in pvp), but I use a tower all the time so I'm trying the wisdom line now for the extra dps and mitigation and having the penalties removed. If you're just starting out, I'd do str first, then int, then wis and then put the last 5 wherever you want. For EOF:Max out slaughtering first (get lay waste as fast as possible) and then stalwarting, put the remainder in either the crippling line or in the aa's that reduce rescue and reinforcement for when you group. This spec increases your damage quite a bit which is essential for a guardian who wants to win solo fights because of our low damage output while providing plenty of defensive improvements to help you tank.

Ugh. STA wins for PvP. Solely because the avoidance it adds takes effect no matter where your enemy is attacking you from. Parry and block only work when the person attacking you is infrnot of you. The Riposte/Parry from the STA line is circular. The double attack is nice as well.

I've been thinking about taking the WIS line though... I'm liking the look of the end ability, extra mit would be nice for PvP as well... the rest of the line is a bit meh though.

Depends on what kind of pvp.If you want to slaughter the [Removed for Content] out of cocky scouts go sta/str (solo). If you just want to be a meat shield go Int/Agi for avoidance. Nice to over cap your parry/defense when you get debuffed.

For PvP...

Wis and Str....Focus on the Belly smash and Weapon Expertise within those lines.

The remaining AA just dump into Int.

As a final caviat I would like to say this...

In group PvP your focus should not be damage unless there is noone else that can.

In PvP your job is to Taunt as often as you can...Which means you NEED to be hit. <--(This is the trick)

Oh yes...I just remebered....Solo PvP for a Guardian

Not recomended.
