How to feed the Burynai?

<p>Alrighty, I can't figure out how you're supposed to feed the Burynai.  I right click him and have no option to feed him.  If I pick him up I still have no option to feed him.  What's the secret? (I have fertilizer in my inventory)</p>

<p>from the update notes Friday, November 16, 2007:</p><p><b>GAMEPLAY</b></p><ul><li>The Burynai pre-order house pets now require one of each type of fertilizer before they will dig for a collectable.</li></ul><p>this means you must have one bone, one soil, AND one water per attempt at feeding to get back a collectable.</p>

First, you either 'water' or 'feed' or 'fertilize' the plant - three separate options (instead of the single 'feed' option you get with the Burynai house pet), which you use independantly and one at a time - then you 'check the soil' for whatever the plant has to offer.  With the plant however, different combinations of items given in a certain order (and in varying quantities) will render a variety of pleasant results - you only get that dried up, gnarly looking piece of fruit if you're going about things willy-nilly, or just don't know how to feed your plant.</p>

Has it been determined if the Tier of the food/water/bone matters or not?Are there Tier 8 food/water/bone and if so what are they called?Any insight would be highly appreciated. Thank you kindly.

Mine only eats...er, drinks, fertilizer water. Nothing else.
