Pally or SK to duo with a brigand?

My wife is leveling up a brigand, and I want to have a tank to take with her. We will probably spend a lot of time duoing, or perhaps in a group. I am not worried about raiding with this toon. Which do you think will be better for my purpose, a shadowknight or paladin?

My first choice would be mentor with whatever your main is.  Second fury.  Third paladin.  But you said you want a tank.  Paladin + dps is one of the best duo combos in the game, IMHO.If you take any other tank, you're going to have to be more uber on your alt than she is on her main to hold agro without limiting her damage.  With a paladin, you don't have to worry as much about that.   You will be better able to take tough heroics with your heals and her damage.

I have a paladin and shadowknight. In your situation I would say choose paladin with out hesitation.Amends is great in this kind of setup and makes allowing the brigand to do max dps easier. This is suplimented by the paladin's ability to heal (which outstrips the SK who sacrafice some healing for dps) that will let you stand against some tougher mobs.
