Have been playing for some time (2 months) but waited to buy RoK before I bought an expansion. Is there any "quick" way to catch up on the achievement points - perhaps re-visting the Newbie areas. Not sure this a Newbie question but nearly is .

Re-visiting the newbie areas won't help much as the dings for achievement are rather small for discovering new areas and completing gray quests. You could mentor down with somebody brand new and collect those though with a better gain.Go visit areas you've never been before.. even if they're outside your level range. I call 'em suicide missions. Run around and ding at new areas. If you die, revive in an area you haven't been yet and explore more until you die again. Rinse and repeat.Finally.. take all the quests that are at your level or higher and do them best you can. That's where majority of your AA will come from.

I think AA works like normal exp in that it gets harder to gain each level. If this is correct then it is definately well worth your time to go back and explore older areas and quest.

If you are getting 10% aa for a quest and 4% or more from a disco I think that's about as good as you could hope for. I'd suggest experiementing with low level stuff and high level stuff and see which works out better.
