defence stance issue (adept3 vs master1)

Monks are saying the same thing. I'm a mastered Monk and after looking at some Adept III's on the broker none of them seemed like an upgrade to me.

I think what someone (cant remember who, sorry hehe) posted about stances on the monk forum some time ago still goes now..Can use lvl 14 def stance M1 and not lose much as compared to the higher level def stances.cause -> the 25% mit boost go on either, and the low lvl M1 also has 2% more uncontested avoidance.also, you will most likely be able to hold aggro better using the low lvl M1, since there is virtually no attack skills reduction.The only thing youll miss out on is the avoidance.. which imo is not so important, as brawlers already get loads <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />

indeed the level 16 M1 is probably the best, though some might rather have the level 30 on as you get a little more to you defensive skills. regardless, i have masters of all but the 72 one and im testing them all out right now.

<p>I came to theese boards to post the same thing about the T8 ad3 beeing worse than the T7 master. This cant be right can it? How can it not be an upgrade? All our other adept 3's are slightly better than the previous Master version. </p><p>And to think I wasted 8 plat on a loam for a skill im not even gonna use..</p>

It's not just bruisers from what I've seen. Most T8 ad3 are worse than t7 masters... yay for horrible scaling!

This has been the case with all tiers since the change to stances some time ago (can't remember if it was during KoS or at release of EoF) where all quality levels of a stance (apprentice, adept and master) give the same mitigation benefit, also the same across all tiers, only benefits of upgrading are the difference in skill levels provided
