Burynei Pet activation deadline?

Is there any such thing?I have bought the RoK allinonepack and gotten the update code. This is something I am going to give away as a christmas present (incl. the Burynei Pet) and it will therefore not be activated until end of Decem ber or maybe later. Could it be any problem with the delay? I wouldn't want to hear that some allowed activation time has run out.
