Ratonga and Half Elf SK pics

<ul><li><div align="justify">I recently bought RoK and i'm dead set on playing a SK.  The problem is i'm torn between a more traditionaly bad arsed looking SK in the Half Elf SOGA model (JMO, I understand some people hate them and visversa) or something I bet more funky / standoutish in a Ratonga.  I've looked around but I haven't had much luck in finding any decent resolution pictures of either as SK (looking for high level, class hat a plus) so I figured I would get pro-active and start my own thread.  </div></li><li></li><li><div align="justify">Also i'm aware of the new racial traits and as a former min/maxer I understand neither race is "optimal" for a SK, and that SKs themselves aren't "optimal" at least for raiding anyway, but after playing MMORPGs for almost 7 years i'm coming back full circle and I don't care so much about that anymore... i'd rather just enjoy designing a character that I think is fun to play and looks cool doing it.</div></li><li></li><li><div align="justify">I also read a short while back that they're going to do a full skeletal revamp for PCs.  Is this just for the races that have regular models and SOGA models, or is it for every race other than Sarnaks?  If its the former and not the later then i'll likely go Ratonga since who knows what the Half Elves will look like after thats done, which has to suck especialy for the veteran players... but I hear it'll allow for big improvements in armor design.</div></li><li></li><li><div align="justify">Anyway, post 'em if ya got 'em!</div></li><li><div align="justify">~Thanks</div></li></ul>

A Ratonga will get more useful racial traits I guess, since their crit chance trait is higher than the Half Elf one. Any SK that sets his mind to it can easily get in a raid guild, and I'm assuming that most that say it can't be done have just sucked at their class and failed the trial, come across a guild not recruiting tanks or come across a guild that's just anti-Crusader full stop. The skeletal revamp isn't out yet AFAIK, but when it comes it will be removing SOGA models and creating one new universal model for each race - so if you are choosing Half Elf for their SOGA model, you might want to rethink that. At the end of the day choose whatever you like the look of, the differences are minimal at best assuming you can play your class the way it should be played.
