Could someone please explain how reflect works and if it is worth getting?

Basically, while you have it up - the next spell your enemy uses will not affect you, but instead you will use that spell against him and he will be affected. There are SO many mobs in EQ2 immune to reflect that it really is not worth the points, and even if they weren't immune there are much better choices in the AAs.

yeah the only reason I even consider picking it up is for the title of Legionnaire, which just seems ever so tasty to an Iksar SK

In pve you wont notice the difference between having it or not, but on pvp... I love reflectings tuff on casters. Especially the big nukers. As a warlock said to me "Holy spell reflect batman!" when he got his biggest nuke reflected back, followed by a HT and a bit of handywork to mop up the remains.
