I was pondering something about Frogloks.. from what i understand Mithaniel Marr created the Frogloks, they eventually saved him when he was captured by a god whom i forget, but i recall they where aided by the Northmen of Halas, eventually just prior to Legacy of Ykesha, a group of Frogloks where blessed with better intelligience, strenth etc etc.. but i was wondering how this relates to the Frogloks of Kunark, would they be friendly to a Froglok of Guk/Gukta/Kugup or would they just act as normal.. or perhaps even be hostile, i know there is a Froglok in Kunzar jungle who mentions Marr.. other than that i didnt find much, some help would be appreciated!

Far as I know, the frogloks of Kunark are a different branch than the frogloks of Guk, and very far off from those that were given the blessings of Marr (PC frogloks).

The frogloks of Kunark are cousins by blood, but don't expect a warm welcome if you're a PC froglok.

At least, that's the way I understand things.

The only frogloks who were transformed by Mithanial Marr were the ones directly from Innothule swamp. It wasn't a world-wide change like the Erudites.

As far as friendly relationships with other frogs or other races, this depends to a degree.

In EQlive, the Krupp Frogloks lived in a village in the Swamp of No Hope. Constantly in struggle with the Iksar, they were generally dubious to outsiders, though it wasn't hard to get on thier good side. As you traveled deeper into the jungles, you would find the frogloks were hostile to outsiders as they followed Trak'anon as thier leader and symbol of worship.

That information regarding old frogloks may be... less true, now.Getting bored of the lag in Fens (I'm level 73 and quest grinding up), I decided to poke my nose into the Kunzar Jungle to see what the next progression zone would be like. For what it's worth, at this level, you'll be a couple levels out of your depth at 73 as far as fighting safely goes. I decided to travel along the river that starts at the zone line to give me some direction. Other than some Iksar villages and another faction to grind up (complete with a broker, banker, and faction merchant in the middle of the jungle), I found a froglok there who spoke about the glories of Marr. He offers a quest to bump Synod Reet faction by 35k. He is a Kunark froglok model, and speaks about working as part of the froglok slave resistance within Sebilis, using some colorful metaphors like "the foot of oppression comes down, but we continue to thrust the sword of Marr into that foot" (paraphrased) or some such nonsense. Anyway, I thought it was pretty cool the slaves are revolting now.As a small extra-teaser, but not spoiler: Your continued travels up the river will be Painful.

All frogloks worldwide acknowledge Marr as thier creator, not just the Guktans.
