I was wondering which of the 4 training choices for health (max/regen) or power (max/regen) would benifit a necro the most.

Also sorry if it has been asked before, but where do you start the bertoxxulous diety quests? (or are they not in?)

Just a note, it is DEITY!

But, since we got Lich, Lifeburn and bloodpact, I'd highly suggest making both of your choices the health regen.

As for starting the bertox quest, I've no clue because I don't have RoK yet @_@

We already regen health based on a % of the whole, so they higher your base HPts, the higher your regen... But having more HPts to begin with can helps you take more damage overall, and with LB, do more damage.

Also Bertox IS to necros what Sol Ro is to wizards and conj... He's a must for us corpse lovers.

DEITIES Would you consider yourself a scholar of taphonomy? Do you hang out in graveyards a lot? Ever leave a piece of fruit out, just to watch it ripen, wither and finally decay into a disgusting mound of putrid fungus? If so, you might make an excellent follower of Bertoxxulous, the Plaguebringer! Interested in learned more about the symbiotic relationship between life and decay? Seek out the Prophet Hrath Everstill in Timorous Deep. He had taken up residence within Gorowyn but was recently expelled for conducting some rather... questionable... experiments on the local populace. He should be somewhere nearby...

Ask a guard to help you find "Hrath". He is near the exit to the Gorowyn forest area.
Overall, I agree, Bertox is for necro's. The blessings and miracles are perfect. However, I still prefer the Sol Ro cloak with +60 dmg vs the Bert cloak with its chance to "prevent death" effect. I guess I don't understand what that "prevent death" proc ability is all about. If it is a 50% or better chance with full health/power regen then it might be worth it. But if its less than that I will stick with my Cloak of the Burning Prince.

When you enter Gorowyn from the forest area just before you cross the sand bridge to the gate head right... there is a somewhat hidden opening leading to a path.. the bertox prophet is there.

I am level 58 and he's ignoring me as well - no quest starter at all. What's up with that?

How do you get to Gorowyn from the Butcherblock docks?

Walk up the hill (up the beach) to the griffons, and fly to Timorous Deep. Or take carpet to SS, then take carpet to Timorous Deep. Then walk to the city.

If he's not speaking to you...have you remembered to ditch your old deity?I will take the pbaoe to start as that has been one of my biggest spells in T7 raid zones. If this becomes a cheap master though I will just respec and choose something different.
