I'm an American living in Germany, working for the US Military.Every time I visit any of SOE station.com websites it is automatically set in German, I switch it to English, and when I return it is in German again. Also if I'm on the English website and click any of the links (STORE for example) I'm forwarded to the German version of that site.Logging into my account is even worse, I switch to English, go to update my CC info and I'm back in German. Please make a click to save language settings for all SOE website button. Almost all the tech-related service sites have them. Its just plain annoying and short-sighted not to offer it, and a good way to turn off potential sales to overseas military members and civilians wanting to play your games.

Since I set my system to United Staates I have no problems anymore. It's hidden in the lower part of the region and language section in the system settings.Maybe you'll have to edit also the IE/Firefox settings. (Or only those, not sure, what made the change for me).So, in the end it's already a user choice, just not site-specific. But doubt that hurts you practically.
I do have it set for USA and English. My ISP is German however. And thats what I think is causing the switch. And its getting annoying.

Odd. I use a german ISP and have two computers next to each other, using the same connection. The left has all settings german and I get (as you described) always the german page, and get back to it with every link. The right one though is set up to system location=us and browser language=en-us, additionally time zone to pst and no problems to always get english content. Even the new signatures show their text in the proper language.I doubt it is the time setting, as they couldn't determine by that way, if I am in Germany or France. To bad I couldn't help so far, but I keep thinking about the problem, there must be definatly a solution, as it works for me
