Kunark has risen!

Our intrepid Elfink Wren, she of the well-turned phrase and incredible eye for detail has now posted a lot of Kunark-specific quest walkthroughs at www.thebrasse.com:

- 52 Sarnak newbie quests (Timorous Deep)

- 115 Level 68-73 quests (Kylong Plains and Fens of Nathsar)

These are not your average, lame "post exactly what the questgiver says and never mind how to do it" quest writeups. Wren prides herself on complete and thorough little packages of information. So complete that a drunken Dorf can follow them! Speaking of, I am scrambling to get some maps posted for Kunark - I am working on it, I promise!

The bad news is that Wren is about to get a whole lot busier in real life...

"So that I can devote more time to some personal projects prior to delving head-first into grad school, I will soon be leaving my position at TheBrasse.com. As such, we are currently seeking some volunteers to gather and enter quest data for EQII. We focus on quest quality over quantity - feeling that there is little point in merely re-posting the game text for quests and little else.

If you think you are up to the task, please contact the Incomparable Brasse via PM, either on these forums or, preferably on our very own forums at http://www.thebrasse.com/.

Thanks for your interest!

Wren"

~sniffles~ Whutever am Oi gonna do wifoot tha Elfink unnerfoot alla time? Who will Oi make fun of?

Aye, we know there are a lot of sites out there providing quest info, but our approach is a little different; a small, intimate, friendly site, and we insist on good writing for our quests. Our philosophy: if you're going to do anything, do it well. Our item and quest entry forms for EQII are now live, and we invite you to have a look!

Wren is happy to offer assistance and training, if needed, to budding writers who would like to have a go at creating the perfect quest write-ups.

So... come visit ta check out our current crop of Kunarkian goodness, or ta become a contributor yourself! Who knows, maybe we'll give you a t-shirt fer a job well don. Or a mug. Or better yet, I'll buy you a beer at FanFaire! Wren says that only holds appeal fer odder Dwarves, who cain't write wurth a darn anyhoo... but Oi am allus hopeful.

Alla best,

;-)#

Brasse

Looks helpful but theres a lot more than those 52 quests posted in TD. the quests go all the way up to level 20 and that list stops at 14ish.*edit* I was just able to log into my sarnak and i have 94 quests completed in TD and there are maybe 2 that i deleted because i got too high level for them, they might have been full lines, who knows!

Hello,

This is Wren. Hehehe, yah, we never said that I had compiled ALL the TD quests. I stopped at level 13, when I had done all the pre-Gorowyn quests. I certainly *could* have continued, but there are only so many hours in a day, and it was a trade-off, really. That is, the more TD quests I logged, the fewer level 70+ quests I was going to have time to do, and have ready at launch.

So, I made a choice, and went with what a) pleased ME more and b) I thought would be more helpful.

happy day,

wren

a.) get a bigger team b.) dont be so touchy. I wasnt trying to be insultful, i was trying to let other people know that if they do visit your site before creating a sarnak they know that the TD quests do not stop at level 14.Go get some sleep

And take your own advice re: touchiness. @Wren and Brasse: Thanks for all of your awesome work! Good luck with grad school Wren!
