View Full Version : EQ2 Client Crashing
Just finished downloading the RoK patch even though I have not bought the game yet and after I press the "PLAY" button, the game loads for a few seconds and then goes to a crash screen that states that it is the Everquest2.exe file. I have rechecked all files twice but keep getting the same error and I have disabled all in msconfig, but no luck. Any suggestions or am I going to have to purchase RoK to play EQ2.

<p>Well the only account I can log into game without crashing is the one I purchased RoK on regardless of computer being used. If I log in with my non RoK username I get a script error x 2 which I say" continue running " , hit play , then get the same error you get after getting booted. I think it has something to do with the advertisement banner to purchase RoK not properly loading. Hopefully this gets addressed soon as I am sure we aren't only 2 with this problem.</p><p>I think there is a way to disable the advertisement but can't recall.</p>
<p>OK, this is the second day in a row, and I still keep getting an EQ2 Client Crash, is there anyway to stop this? Getting very frustrated about this.</p>

You are not the only ones with this issue, when i boot up i run script erros as does hubby, also when I craft and try to stop crafting to go to broker or bank it crashes me completly. I have sent in bug reports hope something is fixed soon.
