I didn't get a shipping notice either, in fact mine lists under "track your order" as not yet shipped and estimated delivery date of the 14th....soooo I sent an email to Amazon and got informed that the item I had ordered has a 4-5 week availability time!!!!! That sucks...it didn't say 4-5 week availability when I ordered it! So I wrote back and said why did I pay $15 extra to get it next day if it would be 4-5 weeks...and why does it say delivery estimation of the 14th!!! Still waiting for a response....<sigh>

<p>Hiyas,</p><p>Here is my Amazon Story...I pre-ordered ROK on October 17th from Amazon,.</p><p>I called them @ around 8:30a.m. this morning and asked if there were any delays with me getting my order shipped out today, even went into detail about asking about any delays in shipments from the manufacturer. I was told No problems my order would ship out today.</p><p>As of 6pm tonite EST after the CSR and I went around a few times with the standard responses of it could still could ship out today" I finally spoke to a supervisor.</p><p>He said there was problems with the supplier and they fulfillment depots DID NOT have any copies of ROK yet and they were they were looking at 4-5 weeks...after a little fussing (read ice cold politeness with a liberal dose of sarcasm) on my part he came down to saying that was an estimate that they were hoping it was sooner possibly 2-3 weeks but he finally admitted that my order would NOT be arriving on the 14th like the website stated. </p><p>He did offer to refund the $4.99 overnight shipping costs for each order I had placed. At this point my eyes were shooting flames, head was twisting around backwards and my other half was trying to rescue the phone receiver from being pounded into plastic pieces.. I decided to not ask about the pre-order code for Byryani (sp?) pet and thanked him politey and disconnected.</p><p>As for the Pet I received an email earlier this week from amazon.com stating that I had to take up getting the pre-order code from sony directly not from amazon... I am following that up today again with amazon.com but I think I'm just going to cancel and get the digital download..</p><p>a very disapointed Wintersheart</p>

Hi there,i made a similar experience with amazon.de (Germany), though not as bad as written above. I preordered RoK at October 21st and the expected shipping date on my amazon account claimed to be November 12th. Well, on November 13th, it hadn't shipped while the expected shipping date still remained on November 13th. An E-Mail request hadn't been honored with a response. Today at 10.xx CET it finally shipped, so it should arrive tomorrow (no point, since i bought RoK at a local vendor yesterday evening).That's a very uncommon amazon behaviour; i have known them to be very reliable yet.Kind regards,tom1301P.S: A colleague of mine who preordered at amazon.de, too, did get his RoK copy in time.

<span class="postbody">Amazon apparently is having ISSUES.All day yesterday I was seeing "Estimated Shipping Date: November 13, 2007, Estimated Delivery Date: November 14, 2007". Bummer. And it had not actually SHIPPED by the time I went to bed.This morning I find this email that says: <div></div><div><span style="color: #ffcc33;"><b><span style="font-family: Courier;">Greetings from Amazon.com,We're writing to let you know that we are having difficulty processing your [credit card] with [expiration date one digit wrong]</span></b></span></div>Why this is TOTALLY B.S. is that I had a split order and they billed me JUST FINE On the book. Just like they billed me on that same card info for the last dozen purchases.I think they deliberately hosed up the expiration date so they wouldn't have to admit this is a problem on their end. <p>I too just got screwed over by Amazon.com. I pre-ordered on Oct. 29th, 2 expansions.</p><p>I just got that email saying there was a problem. I called their OUTSOURCED customer service to cancel the order since it was not as to my agreement. Got some runaround, which surprises me, because I've had lots of good experiences with them before.</p><p>Even though the order is delayed and wont whip out to me until the 21st to 27th, they say it is in the "shipping" process already and it cannot be cancelled. BS. The guy, whom I could barely understand, said I should refuse the package and it would be returned. I told him I shouldnt have to do that, and for him to figure something out. I explained that I wouldnt be at home to refuse it during delivery hours, and for him to cancel it, because the timeline is not acceptable for a pre-order that I need. Long story short it sounds hoakey what he did in a bizarre method to "cancel" it, and we'll see what happens. Sounds like if it doesnt get botched Im looking at weeks for a refund, and yes I've been billed already too.</p><p> I WONT ever pre-order anything from them again. Lesson learned.</p><p>So....</p><p>Im gonna order a box version for one account, to have the most current physical format of the game since Im replacing a PC very soon, and am downloading at the moment on another account....</p><p>edit for typos.... don't type when PO'd lol</p>

Oddly enough, I am going to work for the local amazon.com distribut...errr, fulfilment center this Sunday. Just a temporary assignment but I swear on Quellious' teats than any eq2 orders that pass through me will be dealt with quicker than an orc eating a gnome. Everyone else will just have to wait for their [Removed for Content].

I pre-ordered on October the 30th and noticed that even back then it was giving an estimated shipping date of 19th Nov. I've seen it do horrible estimates on other orders made before so I didn't think too much of it. Ended up calling customer support a little while ago and it went something like this:Them: "There was an issue in order fulfilment and the item will not be shipped until November 19th."Them: "I went ahead and upgraded your shipping at no cost due to the issue and you will be receiving the order faster than before."Me: "But the item is showing as "In Stock" now?"Them: "Yes Sir, but even still the order will not be shipped until November 19th."Me: "..."I didn't even bother asking her about the pre-order Burynai code. Might end up canceling and picking up a copy elsewhere, but I'd hope SOE would just give everyone the Burynai with all the BS that's been going on related to pre-orders.
