thanx verry much Tevyni to had the problem with the patcher.i followed your advise downloaded the  station launcher than tryed patcher again and now everything works like a charm.thanx so much m8 <img src="/smilies/8a80c6485cd926be453217d59a84a888.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />

Funny I kept getting error messages when I tried to use the station launcher. Glad its working for you though.

Glad it worked for you, I also had no luck patching thru the beta. I had it installed already however it would initially not patch for me, so I finally got patched ok with the old launcher, then ran the beta one again from curiousity and it messed up something so that I got the "wrong client version" error, finally got the old launcher working again and am at Character Select Screen waiting for servers to unlock. I'm not going near the beta again one for a week for fear it will mess me up again ^_^

I found out there is a problem with the beta patcher.  It does not patch properly.  I was able to patch with the regular patcher, but had to cancel and restart downloads or close and open the launcher repeatedly to get all the files.I ended up downloading the patch twice.

<p>beta patcher also did not work for me.  had to close it out and use the standard eq2 patcher.</p>

You might edit original post to keep people from downloading an d trying, for me it messed up my previously working patch and I had to go through a bunch of patching all over again...

<p>After spending 5 hrs. patching on the beta patcher thanks to this advice, when I thought I could log in it had an error saying it wasn't the current version.  I'm now patching through on the regular one.</p><p>w/e.</p>

i think i deleted the original patcher.  any way to get it back w/out installing from original disk?
