I'm wondering if it is normal from a lore standpoint for people in norrath to worship multiple gods? For example would it make sense to say an Arasai worships Queen Cristanos as their creator, and worships Inny as the god of hate, and then would worship Bertox if they were a necromancer because he seems to be the god of necromancy. Or would any of these expect to be worshiped alone, and would be angered if their followers worshiped other gods also?

Since most people nowadays only believe in one god I think it's hard to understand the idea of having many.

I definately don't think it's unreasonable for someone to feel an attraction to multiple gods. Even if you choose to dedicate to a primary god it doesn't mean you can't have a great deal of respect for another.

Multiple dieties were involved in the creation of some races, such as the ratonga (Brell created them and Bristlebane gave them some extra personality). I think if you keep that in mind you can't really restrict worship to one diety either.

Most people just worship one diety for life guidance, but it's not uncommon to give thanks or curse other gods for certain reasons and situations.

I refer to the thread here, where this topic was already addressed. Oddly enough, it was over worshipping two good deities...suppose it's only fair to have the reverse..
