Quick question about cpu requirments

Hey all.  I just got a Dell Inspiron 1501, not exactly a gaming beast haha.  But, I thought it at least met eq2's minimum requirements.  When I go to play eq2 though it says  that the processor doesn't meet requirements.  The cpu is an AMD Sempron 3500+ 1.8ghz.  Is this cpu not good enough?  Im not very computer savvy so any help is truly appreciated.  Thanks.

That should be fine. Your laptop probably has speed stepping (or whatever its called). Your laptop to save power will run the CPU at lower speeds such as when web browsing when the full 1.8GHz is not needed. If you run an intensive application such as a game it should run at full speed.You should be able to disable this option in your BIOS.
