<p>The developers did a good job with some of them this time, though I haven't been able to find more beyond these two, but I haven't had much chance to search either.</p><p>CHOKEMON! GOTTA CATCH 'EM ALL!</p><p>In Timorous Deep is a sarnak who sells Chokeballs and gives you a quest to capture wild Chokodai wolves. Do you have what it takes to become a Chokemon Master?</p><p>A Fistful of Metal.</p><p>There's a quest series in Kylong Plains that parodies the entire Fistful of Dollars movies. The whole plot is there. You end up working for two different sides (Freeport and Qeynos) who are fighting against each other, but each side doesn't know that you're working for the other side. </p><p>After you sabotage both sides, and even take out a group from each side, they send a hitman out to kill you. This Gnome Assassin doesn't know who you are, but he knows that someone killed his sister, and you're the most likely candidate. You end up meeting him, and he doesn't know who you are. You tell him that your name is Clinton Eastbark (lol), and agree to help him find the real killer.</p><p>Unfortunately, that's as far as I've gotten in that questline, as it was still buggy when I tried it.</p><p>If you folks find anything more once the expansion goes live, please don't keep it to yourselves. <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /></p>

isnt there a"badger badger badger"
<p>I will want to double check one title of a quest before I spout it out, but it made me think of Code Monekys from G4TV. It was towards the end of the episode about Mr. Larody producing the E.T. that Niel Diamond sings a song "My little E.T. and me". For some reason that quest title made me think of that. </p><p>That's the only easter egg I can think of at the moment if it really is one. </p>

When starting a character in Timorous Deep, on the very first little piece of beach, not too far away is a Sarnak standing on a rock and fishing. You end up doing a few quests for him, fishing a such. He end's these by telling you if you see a named fish and can catch it, let him know. If you continue to fish and catch it, and take it to him, later he will send you a mounted fish furniture item by mail, the subject of which reads:"So long, and thanks for all the fish."

Fens - at the end of the Nurga Mines series, you use a "route kit" to destroy a goblin machine. Nice Sony reference.
In Kunzar Jungle there is an NPC named Cookie. The third quest in the series is called: "Cookie's Monster" obviously coming from Sesame Street's Cookie Monster.

Also, in Kunzar Jungle, there is "The Shatterhorn" filled with Quatcha..... an obvious reference to Matterhorn mountain a popular ride at Disneyland which has a Yeti/Bigfoot/Sasquatch in it.

<p>I can't believe no one else posted this. When doing the fights for the shackle quests in KJ, your oppenent will periodically say "Flawless Victory!" and I swear I saw him say "Finish Him!" one of the times I fought and lost. I could be mistaken on the second phrase but I know the first one is repeated quite frequently. Very obvious Mortal Kombat reference (especially considering the whole cage fight scenario).</p><p>The Pawbuster fight also reminded us a little of Mortal Kombat but wasn't as much of a direct quote as the shackle series.</p>

You've got Igoo, the gorilla, in Kunzar Jungle. When you attack him, he has a stoneskin shield (or something like that) that absorbs damage. Igoo is the big stone gorilla from the Hurculoids cartoon from way back.
In Jarsath Wastes are two quests that are based on a Dr Seuss Book, "One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish". The first quest is "One Fish, Two Fish" from Herd Master Rudak. The second is "Dead Fish, Blue Fish" from Lt Dansiss.

<p>I can't believe no one's posted about this, and I don't remember it all exactly but the Epic Crafting quest is filled with easter eggs. This is the only example I remember:</p><p> At one point you get sent to Gnomelands Security to talk to a gnome about making some devices to put the Bixies to sleep. When you talk to him about it, he becomes a little irritated that you can't provide him with exact specs on the area of the rooms the bixies are in among other things. Then he asks you about the airspeed velocity of the bixies, and you respond "Laden or Unladen?". I nearly killed myself laughing over this one - for anyone who don't knows, it's refering to a conversation from Monty Python and the Holy Grail.</p>

The effect on the EQ1 version of the Worker Sledgemallet was exactly the same one as the EQ2 version and ports you to nearly the same location. (Though, the EQ1 version took you to a bit safer spot in the Overthere outpost, which was full of Dark Elves and their allies.)
