View Full Version : Idea about changing the token/ pvp armor system

well - people often complain about how easy it is for certainclasses to get enough tokens as it is hard for grp orientatedclasses ( f.e. defiler, guardian.... ranger ( j/k ^^ ) ) to obtaintokens solo the way f.e. scouts do.plus it often results in anger cuz of stealing tokens etc.<i><b><span class="postbody">HERE IS A SUGGESTION TO CHANGE THE TOKEN SYSTEM :make pvp armor work the same ways as god miracles. meaning :you get faction/ favor for a kill etc etc - then you can go to the merchant and spendthe faction/ favor ( favor as it is called for deity blessings/ miracles )for next piece you will need more kills ( favor/ faction w/e ).easy to adjust and solves token issue for grp orientated classes.</span></b></i><span class="postbody">/discuss</span><i><b><span class="postbody"></span></b></i>

Theres so many problems with eq2 pvpand nothing getting done to fix it.. Im sure though, when a new mmo is about to be released, we'll see some changes... but until then...

<p>I support your suggestion as well.  I know in a group of 6 people, I should be getting 16.6% of the loot, but I tend to get around 5% of the Legendary/Fabled loot becuase so many people out there have loot hacks.  Your system would fix that for the token drops.  </p><p>Alternatively, the group (or person if they are solo) who did more than 50% of the damage for the kill ought to get a 30 second exclusivity on tokens, that way ninja-looters who throw in one hit and wait for the chest to drop and pounce first wouldn't get the tokens.  Random drops are far from random in this game.  <img src="/smilies/9d71f0541cff0a302a0309c5079e8dee.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /></p>
