When RoK release I will be making either a Sarnak Warden or Fury. I am making the primarily for their portal skills. Which class will be the best for a soloer to play and has the best abilities for getting to Druid Rings for the Portal Skill? Which will do the most damage in a fight -- since they are classed as healers I suspect their melee is poor as are their damage spells. I looked briefly at the spell lists and they both seem to get the same spells.

Since I am not partial to healers I probably will not play the class much beyong getting the portal spells which I guess is level 25. I will probably TS with them then.

I know Warden get and Evac which is nice -- too bad they are not a pet class and they have lost the druid skill of kiting a la EQ1.

Fury can parse 2500 pretty consistantly if they arn't really having to heal much... (raid wise anyways)... soloing I usually end up at like 1k zonewide doing the nest.

if ya want pet class with heals, make a necroif ya wan teleports, then youre stuck with druids... or sorcs.

imo warden ~ fury in both heal and DPS.. fury buffs are slightly better, but *shrug*i like the warden more since im a melee oriented person, if your caster oriented, choose fury.... althou the warden roots are very nice too ++Xan

Is that true?

How sad ... The ever powerful healing warden getting reduced to a travel agent ...lol

*warden checking the departure schedule* says "Lets see i can get you a package deal including round trip air fair to BB with a stay at Gnomeland security(continental brkfast) and a 45 min sow to take in the sites.

If you are only going to lvl 25 for the portal skills I would pretty much suggest Warden for one reason, speed, once you have 8AA points you have SoW at 45% run speed with 45 min duration, since you need to run through (or spend cash on a mount) the zones to get the portal updates this will make it faster for you.

Im actually looking for a similiar thought here. Im creating a sarnak and looking at warden or fury. I have a 60 templar and what bugs me the most (since I tend to solo more) is how long it takes to kill something. I do tend to like to get into the thick of the battle, trying to melee with the best of em.. so whats going to be the better route to go? fury warden or inquis?

From what I've read, I'm not spec'd for soloing My warden is pretty much spec'd for healing, soloing with him takes FOREVER, but he always has group invites waiting for him.Luckily my main is a swash, and he gets stuff done quickly, or I'd never solo.
