Horde of Bats?!?!

<p>I like to think that I keep myself current with all things eq2. I read the forums two to three times  a week. I play alot and talk to other people etc...   I just now found out they upgraded swarm of bats to a level 53 spell?  Did I totally miss them announcing this on a patch message?  Did anyone discuss this on forums and I just missed it?  Apparently alot of classes got new level 53 upgrades to the bloodline chronicles spells and those that didn't got their original spell improved.  I knew that some classes were getting raidwide buffs but I didn't think necromancer had any changes. A long time ago I used to have swarm of bats in my dot rotation but I stopped using it b/c it didn't do enough damage for its casting time and it didn't proc lich.  I just got the ad3 of the Horde of bats spell today and will have to do some playing around with it to see if its worth casting.  It seems to me like these spells were snuck in.  I'm glad I noticed it now before it gets lost in translation with the new expansion.   </p>

There was a bit of discussion on the spell upgrades before the new spells came in, to the point I knew it was coming and looked for a adept 3 a few days after the patch.There are lots of changes all the time so it's easy to miss reading the notes, so don't feel too bad.

Im sure he meant trouby's  Precission of Maestro there so no, you didn't miss any other necromancer spell <img src="/eq2/images/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" width="15" height="15" />. Horde of Bats makes around 2-3% of my raidwide dps, its spell with lowest dmg I have, even Blighted Horde is making more dmg...
