Good day,

I was wondering if the Enchanter's last ability under the Intelligence tab in the KoS AA tree, Volatile Magic, effected the damage on Coercer's Reactive spells. The description on Volatile Magic says spell damage, but are the reactives considered spell damage or something else? Just wondering, as I am preparing to make a Coercer.

Thanks,

Rottk, Berserker, Nagafen

As far as I remember, everything we do is affected by that. Some time has passed from when I first put points into that and sprinted around Freeport examining the spell damage, so I am saying this off of a faint memory and some pseudo-common sense. I may be wrong but the only thing volatile magic does not effect is our ___ mind spells where it is calculated off of the percentage of power used (the termination damage is affected however). If you want, I can just spend a minute or two and just re-examine everything for you. -Niro

Thank you, but thats OK. I think you are right about it effecting all of the damage spells except for percent though, as reactive spells are still casted which should fall under the "spell cast" category. I just was wondering. I think I am going to make a Coercer sometime this weekened though and try and take advantage of the Sunday double exp before RoK comes out though!

Thanks again for your reply!

Rottk, Berserker, Nagafen

It works on everything, including buffs and proc's, that does damage. Not including cataclysmic mind series of pow use -> damage.

Good to sprint down right before popping incinerate from sol ro too.
