Poets Palace...what difficulty do you solo it at?

thx for info...was wondering about the mob "aysor"...while fighting him he keeps "disappearing" and I cant heal my pet while he kills it...Is he warping or what?

<cite>reklaw67 wrote:</cite><blockquote>thx for info...was wondering about the mob "aysor"...while fighting him he keeps "disappearing" and I cant heal my pet while he kills it...Is he warping or what?</blockquote><p>He falls through the floor.  This is a common problem with that mob in Poets and the final mob in the Nest.</p><p>A tip: If you are entering the room where aysor spawns, go to the right and when you pull him, try to get him off the main floor onto the tile near the edge of the room.  Do this by casting your slow on him, back up, stun him once he is off main floor and send pet in at the same time to pull aggro off.  Root him again if needed.</p><p>If you cannot get him off that floor and he "disappears", back way up and call pet off, he will reappear chasing you, then target him and send pet in again.  Repeat if he poofs again.</p>

I run the Poets Palace on the hardest setting, Very Difficult I think it's called. I know there is a difference in the HP for mobs between difiiculties. One thing I have wondered is if there is a diference in the Master drop rates. I know others that run it on Easy and complain about not getting a Master spell for 1-3 runs in a row. Where as when I do Poets Palace I get atleast one Master on nearly every run. It could also just be pure luck.

It could also just be pure luck.</blockquote><p>Yup.  I am almost positive it is pure luck.  I have done it before and received 2 exquisite chests, one aysor and one for the eye...sadly they did not have master spells in them.  </p><p>Then, just did it last night and got 1 wooden chest and the eye gave me an ornate.</p><p>Out of all the times I have done it, I always pick the easiest level and have received a mixed bag of drops.</p>
