As far as AA's go, I love the INT line. You get the most bang for the buck by putting points there first. Rabies, crits, scourge, it's a really great line. Too bad immunities is broken/worthless, you can spec around it though... I also recommend either the AGI (melee) line or the STA line. The STA line used to be great when the shield attack was a stun, but now as a daze, it sort of sucks. I have no idea why someone thought defilers one opportunity to stun someone 2 seconds needed nerfing, but whatever - the rest of the line sucks, so I spec'ed AGI, which is really really nice. For the defiler line, I did the canni and curseweaving lines. Everyone was trying to tell me how great soul ward is, but any ability that takes the healer to 90% dead in one shot is a non-starter for me.

One thing to prepare yourself for as an ex-warden... you are going to HATE the cast times of all your spells and how easy it is to interrupt casting. It really does suck. You are not going to fare well solo as a tank taunting folks off you is now 100% mandatory in pvp. Heck, two grey swashies can kill me pretty easy (or at least they could when I was 65 in SS, don't know about now) if I'm rolling solo.

On the up-side, defilers are just cooler than wardens all around. Welcome to the club!

- Locus, 70 Defiler of Nagafen
