Hello all. have a little question about 1handed weapons.. all the bruiser i seen are eather going bare fisted whit points in str tree, or duel wielding 2 1h batons. but why do you all go for batons? the reason i ask is that i realy like the way a bruiser fight whit a Bo staff, but i whil never use 2h staff since that whil nerf my dmg output to much. but i was testing something yesterday, i found out that the quaterstaff had the same "emotes" (fighting type) that bo staff has, bu if i used 2 of em get the same fighting way as when i use 2 batons.. so i tested whit one quaterstaff in main had and one fist wraps in off hand. wolla! i was fighting like i used 2 haded weapon whit 1 one handed weapons. is there any change that 2 x batons are bether then quater staff and a fist wraps?Sorry if its hard to understand my point here, my english isnt the best in the world and its in the middle of the night here in norway.

If you're talking about things in the low-ish level range, the reason you probably see two staffs is because wood is a pretty cheap rare harvest and people like using mastercrafted weapons while they level up.

If you find good quality weaopns it doesn't matter what type they are.

Eventually you might even find a 2 hander that's worth using.

The damage difference between two one handers and a two-hander that is on par (say, both legendary,) is minimal, as far as outcomes. You might parse higher with two one-handers, but you won't kill ten more monsters in an hour because you choose one or the other. One might be statistically higher, but as far as what you can accomplish in the same amount of time, there is hardly any difference. If you like the look, get the best you can afford, and have fun with it!
