Help! Game is disconnecting internet

<p>When I log into EQ2 about 1 min later the game disconnects and also disconnects my internet.  Sometimes the game will try to log into the server again and it connects then loses it 30 sec later. I have reinstalled, lowered graphics, diabled sound. etc.  Even tried a new sound driver.  System specs are Vista 32, geforce go 8600gs, intel core 2 duo 2.0, 2046 ram, 150gb x2 hd. Wireless connection 1.5mbs.  Also when the games goes back to character select the internet comes back.  windows firewall has been disabled.</p><p>Any help will be greatly appreciated! </p>

What's the make and model of the modem that you have? If it's a speedstream, you might want to try using a router that is properly configured to manage the packet traffic.Best regards,Richard
