Relying on a 10 minute reuse invuln is a horrible crutch. Don't spec it until mabye you have 70 points into the tree.Pools Of Blood is unmitigated and pretty crappy.Get Reaver/Siphon Hate.4/4/8 intThen it's up to you.

Assuming that your healers are worth a crap, and aggro is the only thing you need to worry about:STR 48821 STA 441INT 448EoF hate lineReaver or pools doesn't really matter they both suck.

My spec is 4-8-8 int 4-8-8-2-2 str 4-1 sta. My EoF line is reaver and pools. I have gone round and round on pools. I see it as a skill that SKs dont use. There have been lots of times that the 2k bleed pool has prevented a wipe on our raid. That is hp that cant be debuffed or lost in any way.

So lying there another 2 sec where a healer can get you up is a bad thing?

I can't say for how great Blood pools is on a raid, but I've recently specced out of the hate line to try it. I was skeptical at first since blood pools has such an "it sucks" reputation. I'm glad I did as the groups I usually run in benefit from it much more. I don't have top of the line gear nor am I completely mastered out. There have been numerous times I'll go in and out of conciousness as a mob is beating on me and the healers are fighting to keep me on my feet. That extra lil something has made a big difference in group wipes for me (at least while I'm MT).

I dunno, some guys will swear by the 3% hate transfer...then I got to thinking 3% is 30 points out of 3000, dosen't sound like much considering how many AA points you spend to get it. You can easily get hate proc gear that'll do more for you then that end ability will ever do for you, but that's just my opinion on it. Course I'm not ubered out either, but I can certainly say Blood pools adds survivability if you haven't gotten your top end gear yet.

Something else I noticed when going down the pools line is that I seemed to be doing more damage with my spells...probably because I maxxed out the disease resistance reduction from my encounter taunt and maxxed out the wisdom reduction on Agony. I dunno, the biggest increases has been on my tap veins and abominable wrath spells. Tap veins went from 2400 or so damge to 2700 or so and abominable wrath went from about 1500-1600 to nearly 2k. The other spells I can't say how much they went up, but I feel like it's made up for whatever benefit the hate line ever gave me.
