So, with just one week left for RoK...will we ever see a conclusion to Rylana's / Neriak's Arc? I can't find it right now but I'm pretty much sure that a red name posted that we should hold onto the dagger; implying it was not over yet.Makes you wonder and I hate unfinished businesses. =/

We will after Kunark is released. It's not like she has anything to do with the expansion, so for now we should just let Vhalen work on the expansion.

No seriously, she doesn't have anything to do with Kunark, so why should she be finished with the release of the expansion?

Who IS Rylana and what is the plot following her?  I've heard her mentioned in conjunction with the SoD line (which I've finished except for killing a Mayong) and Neriak but from what I saw SoD didn't really have much to do with Neriak anyways.  Also heard her connected to Opal Darkbriar, who I know very little about.  Maybe I missed or forgot some dialogue?  Can somebody clear this up for me?  Also, I've never found any dagger or anything, the only mysterious item I found while working on SoD was an Order of Marr broken shield out near the Everfrost statue, any clue what that item is for?Thanks for the help <img src="/smilies/283a16da79f3aa23fe1025c96295f04f.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />

It all started by investigating areas of Longshadow Alley for Rylana, an investigator working for the Freeport Militia. She was investigating for the home of whoever stole the Soulfire out of Freeport. We found Opal Darkbriar's home, the player got a book out of it, and Freeport eventually found Opal Darkbriar. Unfortunately, Neriak wanted Rylana dead for helping Freeport discover Opal's whereabouts. Now her corpse is in a bear came in Nektulos, and our forum quest trail has run dry until another step is added in.</p>

I doubt RoK has anything to do with delays given how long has this been discontinued. <p>About that dagger:</p><p>Only anyone who participated in her investigation in Longshadow Alley can currently pick up the dagger next to her body in Nektulos. Vhalen has said that others will be able to do the quest when it continues, but those of us who did the initial investigation will be rewarded further.</p>
