Not all LOCKS are T2!!!

<p>Stop clumping every player that disables combat xp in with all those twinks in T2.  It gets old.  You can not base all of your assumptions about locking on Tier 2 players.  It is getting old.</p><p>So many whiners about lockers.  This is EverQUEST.  Hence, the quest part of the name of the game.  I have been locked since lvl 20 and I have only gotten 516 quests done!  Im lvl 44 now.  I know my toon well.</p><p>You also need to realize that in 1 month, all of you talking about 'lvl 70 pvp is better anyway, lvl up!' are going to look like hypocrites when you lvl up to 80 and start saying the same crap about T8 pvp.  </p><p>The lock issue in the debates is about T2 (TIER TWO) locking twink griefers.  It has less to do with T3 and nothing to do with anything beyond lvl 30.  </p>

Then stop assuming that all 70s are uber raid geared and only kill 62s for tokens.  I have yet to see a post where someone quit due to the T7 ganks.

<p>Wytie is so right! haha.  </p><p>I dont assume anything about lvl 70s.  I dont play that tier.  Im a T5 lock.  Worked my way up the charts since pvp launched.</p><p>In T5, I could NOT care less what lvl 70s are doing.  </p><p>T2 locker twinks beating you up, too?</p>

They gain their exp and levels from quests and are currently:</p><p>70, 63, 55, 55, 47, 33, 23, 22, 19, 15.</p><p>I think the only toons I have unlocked are my 55's and 63 since there isnt enough content in that range to level them through quests, other wise I unlock them on occassion till they get with range of pockets of quests to do. This way I can actualy complete them with some level of challenge and with benefit from the rewards. The lower levels are way too easy to level in unless you lock.  From a PvP standpoint, even if all you did was pvp it take what?  500 " ,non 30 minute penalty, kills to get within buying range of pvp gear?  Thats enough experience just from the kills to go well beyond the useful range of the first useable pieces of gear you would finally be able to purchase at the level you would be at if you were lucky enough even find that much PvP.  All my toons are on Venekor so the chances of that actually happening are about well........  It aint happening. LOL</p>

It just doesn't hold, i.e. you werent locked. It's not only you, it comes back in every twink thread about tiers lower then 8. That's annoying. No offense.</p><p>It's also my opinion. Sorry, I'm a definition type of person. Words mean something. Call it slowed, disabled, trained, detailed, twinked, maxxed .. anything but locked. You can't open something when it's 'locked'. Lol , yeah dude not all locks are T2 , just most of them.Go to the broker and price T2 gear compared to any other tier and tell me some more stories.

<p>I locked at 22 and now am 44.   </p><p>My post is not a comparrison of tiers people lock in, but a light being shed on all the spam we have to see on forums/chat channels about T2 locks.  Posters more times than not fail to apply the 'T2' part of their locking discussion.  </p><p>I just want the masses to realize that all of the heat about locks going on recently is centered around T2, not any other tiers.  </p><p>T2 has the heat because its a pvp birthing point for new players and new toons.  Experienced pvp server players are not as bothered by the current T2 lock population and methods of pvp because we have grown accustomed to it.  It is taking a toll on our game, though and if new players fail to find reason to continue forward then our game world will die.  T2 is the first tier anyone can pvp in and as such, a lot of inexperienced gamers are left with the sickening feeling/impression that T2 is the start of a very unpleasant pvp gaming career.  What they need to know is that T2 does not represent the pvp gaming aspect of the game for every tier, just T2!</p><p>T2 locks do not represent locking throughout the game, but it is the reason locking is getting so much heat.</p>
