Rough coral

I'm a lvl 17 fury on Nagafen and I've found a single piece of rough coral.  this is my main, I'm not a twink, and i'm not looking to min-max for level locking.  So the question is:Create one of my adept 3s or sell it for 24gp (a lot of money to me!).If i go for an adept 3, which spell to do for the greatest long term benefit?  since i mostly solo, I'm thinking about Provoking Swarm since it won't be replaced any time soon.Other thoughts?Onnel

It really depends. Furies are in high demand in raids, and need the boost from better spells. If you can get somebody to create the Adept III, thats good, but the spell will be useful for only so many levels. The gold will get spent fast, and might serve to get you a few Adept I spells to shore up your baseline ability.Since the fury is good at DPS as well as healing, catching up on adept i spells might be more of a priority. You might also want to sell it if you need to get some better gear. The down side to selling is that you wont get the Adept III you want until you come across another rare stone. Either way you win though, so don't sweat it, in all probability there will likely be another harvesting happy day when rares are dropping like spring figs, and you can fill your bags in giggling glee with rares. (Not holding my breath)If you can beat the farmers at their game and get the 25g, I say do that, but thats just my 2c.

That's a tough call. I'm inclined to say sell it, but I've been playing the game long enough to be able to level to 30 in a couple of days. Being a new player you'll probably have more use of an adept 3 then I ever would at that level. Without adept3s at the very least you won't stand much chance against the PvP twinks, and having just 1 probably wont make an awful lot of difference. My advice would be to sell the rare, and buy up some adept1s. They will be more then good enough for PvE content, and will probably have a greater benefit over a single adept3. Adept1s on nagefen tend to go for about 1-5g at that level.

I agree with selling it.  The greatest spell that you can have for soloing in my opinion (which can't be held that high considering i am only level 24) is your regrowth spells.  So when you are up to be able to choose a "Master 2" choose regrowth.  When you solo, just throw that on you, do your swarm/twirl heroic oppurtunity and things will die without killing you.  And with the money that you can make for it, you can buy a lot of spells.  Now i recommend only buying the Apprentice 4 ones.  There is not that much difference in the damage or healing between the 2, but there is a huge difference in the price.  And as long as you have the Master 2 regrowth, you are good to go.

<p>Look and see what your level 20 spells will be.  If one appears to be an upgrade or completely new, use the rare to make that an adept III.  That way the effect will last longer.  </p><p>Bites to upgrade a spell using a rare only to have it get replaced in one level!</p>
