Running & turning; dvorak

I recently switched my typing layout to dvorak via windows. i am used to using the W A S D keys for running, so i set the keys in their position (, a o e) to perform the same function, which works fine until i try to turn while running. the turn cancels the forward movement. is there any way around this?also, i know from accidental experience that there is a keyboard shortcut for switching eq2 to dvorak, but i have forgotten the key combo. anyone know what it is?

Check your keyboard mappings in game and see if any of the keys are used twice. I had issues when I remapped the movement keys to ESDF instead of WASD; which by the way gives you an additional column of keys to remap for other things without having to move your hand, plus the F key is designed to be found easily on most keyboards for us touch typists makes it easier to place your hand back on the home row. There could be an additional key setting or 2 that is cancelling your other keys functions.

ive already done that... twiceactually, i have found the toggle for dvorak (which is a windows thing) but i still cant figure out why my toon stops running when i try to turn
