Pre Downloads

Does anybody know if they are gonna have pre download of content  a few days before the expansion goes live?

station store confirmation email from preorder says so, havent seen any further info regarding it yet though

I perordered from gamestop will everyone get partial downloads or only people that preordered the digital download from SOE.

I believe, based on past releases, you will be able to download the files ahead of time based on some setting in the EQ2 launcher.  If this is the case, it is smart for those who purchase the retail box to do so as they will be receiving the most up-to-date files. Those that purchase the retail box will then only need to register the expansion and receive the final launch day patch, like those that got the digital download. This will be a much smaller patch than if the expansion is installed from disk.
