I pre-ordered the RoK package and I knew we get a Burynai pet, but what is this cocktrice thing and what are frozen fingers? lol</p>

I just checked my account....  and those two are there as well. And my daughter just confirmed she has them as well. We have have for both our accounts RoK pre-ordered.Makes me indeed wonder what they are....Femke.

<p>Makes me wonder if I'll get them from the retail pre-order... I know I get the burynai pet but I wouldn't mind the chicken lizard (cockatrice) too. A cockatrice is a creature resembling a large rooster with a lizard-like tail. Sometimes described as the female version of a basilisk although, given that the cockatrice is supposed to be born from an egg laid by a rooster and incubated by a toad (or snake?) in a dung heap, I have to wonder why there would be two genders. <img src="/eq2/images/smilies/0a4d7238daa496a758252d0a2b1a1384.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" width="15" height="15" />The basic thing about the cockatrice and the basilisk that most sources agree upon is that their gaze kills! Frozen fingers is a loot card in LoN, if memory serves. Fairly certain it is though.

The <span class="postbody">cockatrice is a cool house pet..It turns your other house pets to stone if they get too close..except the clockworks they kill the cockatrice every time..I think the stone effect wears off after some time..but as the pet owner you can't wake them up..you have to pick up the pet statue and place it again..I think its kinda funny...have more than 1 cockatrice in your house and you can have rooster fights (I wanted to say something else but the bad word filter won't let me)..giggle..they are illegal in real life..lets have some fun in make believe.. no body gets hurt.</span>
