I was just wondering if there is an EQ2 client for Mac yet? I have a friend who is looking to play, but the only computer he has is an iBook. I was just wondering if there is an eq2 client for mac like there is for eq1? If there is, can someone link to it for me? Thanks!

not to my knowledge no, but, if he has a rather new mac he might be able to run it if he uses bootcamp

On the new Intel macs you can use bootcamp, some of the new macs can boot into xp wiothout bootcamp installed. It really depends on the video card that is in the system. If it is one of the intel chipsets - the game may run but performance would be in the basement

Unfortunately no there is no Mac client for EQ2. I run bootcamp on my MacBook Pro though and haven't had any problems.(Note this is just anecdotal, not meant to be tech support or a recommendation on what you do with your mac - K

Hey Kirstie, off topic but how hot does your MBP run when you play eq2? Mine gets upto 80 celcius and by the tracking pad there is a 'static' feel.
