Wizard+Defiler?

Greetings and Salutations,I know this topic has beaten to death but I haven't seen any posts with any substance.I'm curious how well Wizard duo's with a Defiler if anyone here has experience with one. Also contemplating trying a Fury or Warden with my friends wizard leaning towards Defiler thoughfor the debuffs and wards. Would like to hear some opinions on the matter.Kind Regards

<span style="color: #0066ff;">Hi there.  I never played side by side with a Defiler, but I was with a good mystic friend of mine and let me tell you, shaman + wizard = ungodly powerful.  My mystic friend and I duo'd <i>everything</i> up to orange content from our low levels all the way to 70.  I'm not positive which buffs Defilers get, but I do know that Mystics get STA buffs and wicked STA/STR & DPS debuffs.  They pretty much cripple an enemy while you blast away.Also, since they will hardly ever pull aggro (unless they're battle spec'd and you have adds), a Shaman can easily keep you up during any fight.  Shamans in my opinion are far more valuable to wizards than <b>any</b> other priest class.  By technically giving you an additional set of hit points, you are able to stay up longer without worrying.  Also, if you are (say) in the red, and you're about to die, if a mob hits hard, let's face it... you can't take hits well.  So if a druid's emergency heal over time spell goes off on you, you will still stand a <u>far</u> greater chance of dying because it takes time for that spell to take full effect.  A shaman, they click button, they save your life and stop your hit points from going anywhere.  It can be scary because Shamans are the <b>worst</b> healers in the game.  Their heals are terrible, but enough for your low amount of hit points.  They simply keep your hp from going anywhere with wards, and that's the beauty of teaming with a Shaman.  Also, since they debuff mobs so badly, they aren't hitting you as hard or as fast anyway, so the wards last longer.  I remember countless times when my Mystic friend kept me alive during entire fights and my health was in the red the whole fight.  It's scary because you feel insecure when your hp is low.  But with a Shaman, they keep it there until they feel it's safe to heal it back up slowly.  I vote Wizard + Shaman duo the best in the mage /priest world.  We never had problems.  I'd say go for it!!!  You'll have a blast!</span>
