Agro Question

<p>My alt is a 68 pally, full rare crafted armor/jewelery and at least adept 3 with all my skills. </p><p>Ive been grouping alot with a 70 fury and a 70 bruiser. </p><p>Ive been experimenting and im still a bit confused. Amends on the fury (fury usually a solo artist and likes to add damage) keeps my healer safe but i loose agro to the bruiser (he is not taunting). Amends on the bruiser who just kicks out way too much damage generates more hate for me but ive seen the fury start taking hits because of too much ae-ing (always rescuing <img src="/smilies/69934afc394145350659cd7add244ca9.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />).  </p><p>Our group is just a happy accident group of friends so i dont feel its my place to ask them to change their fighting style and i am enjoying our group quite a bit. What can I do to work as a smarter tank?</p>

<p>2 things come to mind.  Since you have a fury, it's not always a huge deal if you and the bruiser both take some damage because the furies have that group regen heal.</p><p>The other thing is to manage your pulls a little bit better so that you only have one encounter to deal with at a time, and then have the bruiser taunt while he has amends.  If the fury is still getting aggro, make sure the monk is assisting you and you should be able to pull anything off the fury very quickly with your own hate and the monk's hate combined on that mob that aggroed the fury.</p>

And of course, if there's a big pull, you can pop sigil of heroism.  Then you don't have to worry about doing as much AE as the fury, but you might as well try, anyway. <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />

you can pull rooms at time without much issue. just remember ol'SOE (bless there hearts) gave you 8 aoe spells to mash down those groups of mobs that may as well be a raid force against ya. Amends the bruiser and aoe like mad. Sigil will be your best friend so use it ofter, try to only use it once in a large fight to try to get the timer down.

My wife and I group with a bruiser quite a bit, me playing my pally, and her on her fury, so Im pretty familiar with your situation.Personally, i tend to keep amends on the bruiser.  The bruiser AEs and alternates targets, and I burn Sigil if the fury is going to Ring of Fire, Call of Storms, or burn a few Star Novas.  Between our AEs, Sigil, Amends, etc i rarely lose aggro to the fury.I have gone the other route, putting amends on the fury, but i find that the bruiser puts out so much DPS that even if the fury chain nukes I cant hold aggro off him.  The guy is an absolute BEAST!  (Then again, if anyone's from Crushbone, its Deadnaut, so thats to be expected).** Also, i find that the fury int buff on me helps quite a bit, and while it may lessen DPS a bit, if aggro is really an issue put agitate on the pally as well.
