Question: where to sell loot that is valuable to a "Guild"

I've come across a few drops which, after examining, were deemed as valuable to a "Guild" (a parchment of some sort and a few "Coral" items. Who (where) do I sell the items to and how does that work? Do I get status points or something with the guild?Thanks in advance for any help!
