I was going through my bank clearing out stuff to make way for older items I'm wearing as I update with RoK raid gear (I keep older gear for a bit) and I came across my 2 older Epic quest Weapons. These represent literally weeks and weeks of on-line time getting each one , quests , hours spent learning raid strats and more than a few kills of the final raid mob to ensure all our guild got them. This set me thinking , why not ask if they could be made into a house item , I'd REALLY like to be able to immortalise these to put them in my house.Stick them on my wall as a record of past achivements so to speak...I know they took me a lot longer and way more effort to complete than many of the heritage quests I currently have in my house. What do others think?

Good idea, but in the meantime you will have a title from the quest line you can use to signify your uberness, don't you?

The house serves as a visual and living diary of our accomplishments through the addition of quest reward items. Those prismatic, claymores and swords of destiny and ripe of inclusion in that kinda thing. As are the fancy armour sets.

I know I'd be more impressed seeing a Qeynos Claymore or mannequin of Vehement armour in someones house than a Lore & Legend weapon, or unspiring box graphic of one of the Heritage quest rewards.

Make it so SOE.

oh yes please... make the questline weapons (i.e prismatic, godking, claymore and sod) usable as house items... but, to add soemthing, please make them give a nice status reduction too please...

I would love to see my Claymore shield as a house item, even both my 2 handers from Labs. I don't care if they have a status amount associated with them or not. It would nice to mount even some of the nicer looking armor sets as well in the house. Being a tank, I have gone through many sets.

I agree with this. Or they could give high level carpenters a skill to change weapons and items into mounted items. Wouldnt it be cool to see a full set of fabled armor on a statue like you see samurai armor on. Have the carpenters make the statues as well. That would definately make the carpenter class more desirable.

I love how any time there's a post about things going into your house there's immediately a post about how it should have status reduction.I'll tell you what, let's go ahead and put status reduction on all the things we put in our house that would signify status, LnL medals, HQ items, Signature / Epic items, etc... But at the same time, let's remove the status from every piece of furniture, every rug, anything that does not shine and sparkle with mystical, magical powers, unless it's mastercrafted / rare-crafted material at the same tier of your character and guild. Because quite frankly, if you want something to show status, no one would be impressed by your bear skin rugs and alder book shelves when you're in a guild of high noteriety or powerful, experienced character. Now, in a non-sarcastic way, that makes perfect sense, because someone should be way more impressed by my Tender's Growth Floret or my Soulfire weapontry than they would be by that pile of bearskin rugs in the corner of the basement. However, I can just feel the seething hatred of everyone who's going to read that idea and lash out because they want to pay 0 status to live in a mansion and actually doing quests and stuff is so much more time consuming than putting piles of bearskin rugs in the basement or making their living rooms into 2-floor spaces with alder bookshelves and tables.
