Hey guys, I play a warlock and completely LOVE pallys.I play on the exchange server so I was debating on buying a pally just for my own tank/duo purposes. What I was wondering is, are pally's wards/heals enough to keep himself alive while I burn the mob? Would I want to go pure tank/heal spec if so?J/W, thanx

Depends how well geared the paladin is and how hard the mob hits... you'll be shocked at how long we can keep on our feet acting as a "root" for mages in some cases... yet how quickly we can suddenly drop in others; but honesly if the paladin can tank it generally you cna root/nuke it better and easier. This is true for all cases unless you have an exceptional pairing of two PLAYERS who work well together; combining rooting kiting and dps.

Well, if you duo with a Pally, you certainly won't get agro away from the Pally if he's even moderately well equiped. Warlocks are excellent Amends targets for Paladins. As far as heals go, it can also depend on level. Your Pally will have an easier time keeping himself healed right after he gets his ward upgrades, and whenever he gets a new armor tier.

If the pally goes down the heals line he could get arch heal for extra healing power and some faster healing.

They also make a great pair for AE farming xp and status, etc.

If the mob hits a little too hard, you could use the pally as an insurance policy for root+nuking too. Amends works really really well in that respect.
