My bruiser realy like Bo staffs, they look great and makes it more fun killing stuff.. but when i use a 2handed weapon i nerf my self, since 1x 1h weapons wil give me more stats, more dmg and 2 procs. I cant talk about lvl 70 fable staffs, but please buff 2h weapons so we can use anything else then 1h.a simpel fix whould to make 2h have a dobbel proc. Anyone else agree on this?

its the same with every 2hander ingamedisregarding mages and priests, whenever a 2hander drops, you can instantly trash it because 1hander+shield or dualwield is ALWAYS betterid also say, T7 2handers need a buff of at least +20 damagerating

Are we really back on this subject yet again? Yes. In terms of dps, statistics, augments, and just about every other category under the sun, 2h weapons are inferior to 1h/Shield or 1h/1h dual wield combinations. This is the way it always ends up. Why? Some say because 'dps' classes don't use big 2h weapons, so the dual wielding of smaller weapons must be allowed to out dps a 2h weapon. Toss in the idea that haste is capped at 100% (1/2 listed weapon speed) and that most decent damage 2hs are slowed to molasses to keep their dps down. Sprinkle on the old idea that 2hs are better dps than 1hs and therefore don't get the defenseive or statistical benefit of a 1h/1h or 1h/shield combination that is still somehow sitting in the cupboard, and what you have is the recipe that guides EQ2 today ~ 2h weapons that exist only so people can complain about how they always drop instead of significantly more desired armor and jewelry.

2H'ers used to be good choice for those who could use them, but that was pre-KoS.

There's a post on the zerker forums talking about this and someone who actually played in the end game content has said that the newer top end 2 handers are starting to be weapons of choice for many players.

Low delay and time between swings in considered a good thing in terms of dps in this game. Since two handers in EoF are more balanced, hopefully that means the RoK ones will also become a viable option for players.
