I have looked through the forum and have seen advice for warlock pvp AAs ranging from concentrating on Stam OR Str OR Mage Shield OR Int...so what is it to be ? I am lvl 15 and have placed my AA in Sta atm and would like some reassurance that this is the best way or at least, not a poor choice. I will be mostly soloing on a pvp server and would like the best AA setup for the pvp part. Has anyone got a definite answer or will it all depend on my play style?Any advice will be greatly received.......oh, and if a particular AA line is recommended advice on how far down the line would be most helpful. Sorry if this is really newbie.Ps. Am not disparaging any of the advice already given, just a mite confused as to how to continue.

For PvP - and solo at that - I'd think wards would be your best friend. 10 point to the mage ward on the warlock tree and the wis line at least up to the ward with 8 points in that. Plus the Wis boost should help against casters since it helps with resists. Then Agi to increase casting speeds. The faster you cast the faster they die. And probably the Hastings line on the Warlock tree. This would be the very least imo. But I don't PvP so I could be completely off base.

Thank you Gerra, I will go down both those lines and see how it goes. I am grateful for your response.

Well if your lvl 15 you should have 11 aa at least by now so you should cap your ward. This is awesome at low lvls and u can take out full grps easily with the decreased damage you take. Then start putting your AA into STA line. In pvp mana shield is huge. Especially when the ppl you keep fighting figure out it is you doing all the damage because they are going to rush you and the initial impact dps they do could drop you but you can throw mana shield for about 3 seconds let your healer catch back up drop it and nuke away. If your lvl locking just be sure to stay locked as much as possible and don't lose sight of the goal of maximizing your AA because they make a huge impact on your pvp. I am currently 28 with 42 AA i have mana shield still have my ward capped and 7 points into increasing my aoe dmg. Works very well for me and my buddies. Mana shield is definately a life saver considering most time we are rolling as a trio and without tank or healer. I roll with an illy so i have no need for the increased speed. and really did not before i met up with the illy. I think STA line is much better for you at low lvls until you can afford the points to have both that and WIS or STR.

Indeed Manashiled is must in PvP without it your are trully usless profesion in that jungle, but as U get it U`ll noticed significant explosions of kills .I personaly think it`s the single most important and powerfull skill in the game for any profesion.Whole STA like in great gives U less resitance of enmies and bonus 2 mittigation ..all things in there are important (look aut on static shiled it reflects damages ,automaticly puting U into PvP combat, ergo U can`t leave zone evac etc..)

Don`t know if they fix mage shileding but it had bad habbit of forcing U into PvP just by refreshing that ward.

Static Shield doesnt proc before you engage.. so thats a bit wrong there.I'd highly recommend STA too.. as first tree.. second hastenings, for the end line ability mainly (immune to interrupts and much faster casting)Those 2 alone will help you alot. The next one to pick is tricky.. I went for STR first, cos the spell crits are very handy + as warlock you get easy burdened in pvp with debuffs, so extra str helps there alot too. Catalyst is good to combine with Rift, Apocalypse etc. Alltho this can be very risky as it consumes quite a bit of health too.For 2nd EoF tree either Prop or Explosives, depends on what gear you have (much proc gear->prop, no proc gear -> expl). However, with them 70 aa's after level 70 I now filled up STA and STR, and also got Freehand sorcering off the Wis tree... Catalyst+FH+Rift is good fun .And in EoF I am going for Hastenings+Prop+Explosives.
